Book cover
A book cover design for the book "Das parfum. Die Geschichte lines Mörders" (its original title). But in illustrated it in my main laungage Swedish.
I wanted something that looked beautiful but also give the hint of danger.
To achieve that balance I played with vibrant colors and focusing on the flowers, hair from the victims and the perfume itself. In one way every part is beatiful, but can also interpret as a horror story thanks to the hidden hair and the vibrant pink that's close to blood when given a dark background without knowing the meaning of it before reading the story.
